Rangers’ remarkable 20/21 ends tomorrow with the Gers just one point off the tonne and a whole host of other remarkable stats.

Ibrox Noise takes you through all the absolutely ridiculous numbers Rangers have put in this season and what tomorrow means.

The big one is the 100% home record – Rangers have won every single league match at Ibrox this season, with 18 so far. Win tomorrow and they’ll be the first to do it since MON’s Celtic in 2004. This is all the more remarkable because MON’s Celtic had megamillions and signed plenty world class players like Larsson, Sutton, Moravcik, Petrov you name it. Rangers did not and did it with a lot of free signings.

The next one is close to the first – the unbeaten league record. Avoid defeat tomorrow and it’s a complete league season without a loss. Which really is the Invincibles.

Then we have the clean sheets record – currently on 25, Rangers need one more to clinch the all-time record, held by Celtic from over a century ago.

Then let’s not forget that points total. It won’t beat Celtic’s recent, but it will still be the highest in Rangers’ history – MON’s Celtic managed 103. So that remains stunning given what Stevie had to work with – but, that said, we’re still to get there.

Then there’s Jon McLaughlin – as Alex Rae giggled, he’s had more clean sheets than either Celtic goalie (9 to their 7 each) so even he alone is gubbing everything Celtic can offer. Remarkably, Allan McGregor can equal Joe Lewis (currently 17 to 16) if Rangers win the game tomorrow with a clean sheet.

Of course let’s not forget assists – Ianis Hagi tops the SPL assists, with Tav just one behind him at 9, and more for either of them would cement that one truly.

Goals, curiously enough, is actually a little intriguing on an individual basis – 3 players are 6 off top scorer Edouard – Morelos, Tav and Roofe. None come close to him but we’d rather have three players scoring 36 between them than one getting 18. Kent has 10.

But yes, tomorrow could see a lot of records and astonishing achievements – it just requires one final push from the Famous.
