After being slaughtered left right and centre for his ‘best team in Scotland’ shambles, Celtic interim manager John Kennedy has hauled a large JCB out for himself by digging even further with ‘clarification’.
It turns out that he doesn’t think Celtic are the best team in Scotland and gives full credit to Rangers for deserving to win the league – but instead he actually thinks when both teams are at their best Celtic are … still the best team in Scotland (!)
The muppet in the East End believes he’s entitled to say that when his team is at its best, it’s better than when Rangers are at their best.
Despite, as Borna put it, his team trailing Rangers by so far and having already been gubbed mercilessly to the league as well as losing to us repeatedly, nevertheless, when they’re at their best, they’re better than us when we’re at our best.
Poor Kennedy has clearly contracted Celtovirus, which is a new and bizarre affliction which only appears to infect Celtic managers, and makes them say not only stupid and misguided things, but then even more stupid misguided things when asked to clarify.
It was out of context, he said – and thankfully the clarification made about as little logical sense as the original content.
Thank God Stevie G is our manager.
