An Ibrox Noise apology to Gheorghe Hagi
TILBURG, NETHERLANDS - SEPTEMBER 24: Ianis Hagi of Rangers in action during the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round match between Willem II and Glasgow Rangers at Koning Willem II Stadium on September 24, 2020 in Tilburg, Netherlands. Football Stadiums around Europe remain empty due to the Coronavirus Pandemic as Government social distancing laws prohibit fans inside venues resulting in fixtures being played behind closed doors. Ibrox Noise recently published a story claiming Ianis Hagi’s father Gheorghe was unhappy at his son’s ‘status’ at Ibrox, and that he was encouraging a move away for his son as a result.

We can confirm in light of new information that this was factually inaccurate, based on false information, and we apologise unreservedly to Mr Hagi for this terrible mistake.

The original story has been completely withdrawn.

Ibrox Noise has never been too big to admit we got something wrong, and we hope to enjoy Ianis at Rangers for many years to come.
