Lazio are finally ready to bid on Rangers’ Romanian superstar Ianis Hagi with a purse reported to be in the region of €15M.

The Roman giants have been linked with the former Genk man for months now, and various Italian outlets have been running the story, and our information was Lazio were to make a €10M bid, but with the heightened interest the Serie A cracks are wanting to affirm the deal and smash what Rangers paid for him.

The attacker had an excellent season for Rangers, despite a slow start, and his assists are up there with the best, bringing him into sharp focus in lieu of the transfer market – Lazio are, however, the front runners now, and they believe a €15M bid will be enough to entice him.

The Biancocelesti are a strong best for a UEL place next season and an outside bet for a CL spot, so Hagi would be getting a far superior league as well as a chance of European football again, as well as increased wage.

No denying it’ll tempt him.

But the numbers have to be right for Rangers, and we’ll see if a £13M or so bid will be enough.
