Glen Kamara and his agent are looking for a lower-to-midtable PL team for the midfielder to eventually move to, according to Ibrox Noise sources.
The Finnish star, who will certainly leave Rangers in the future, is set to net Steven Gerrard’s men a hefty profit from the comical £50K he cost, but despite the claims he could easily play for a top 6 team down south, that isn’t the plan for the former Dundee man.
At least, not yet.
He and his agent are looking for a modest PL side to switch to first, and then raise his stock that way in the PL Kante style, who of course came to midtable Leicester from Cannes (despite winning the league at the King Power) and then got his big move to Chelsea.
Kamara is modelling himself a little on that path, and he will definitely get his move south but it will be on Rangers’ terms, which he is perfectly happy with and both parties are content with the arrangement at present.
But either this summer or summer 2022 he’s likely to realise those PL ambitions and target a low-to-midtable PL side for a move.
And that will suit everyone.
As long as they are a rich lower EPL team.
