If the past 48 hours at Ibrox have taught us anything, it’s that this is the most together a Rangers squad has been since the 9IAR days.

Kamara, abused racially by an honorary member of the KKK, and his every team mate backed him up, not just on the pitch, but waited 45 minutes in the tunnel afterwards to talk to Kudela, who never showed up, incidentally.

The point?

This squad are mates, they’re troopers, and our manager has done an incredible job of putting together a clutch of players who will live for each other and die trying.

The camaraderie this group show, defending each other, backing one another up – these are the best, as we’d say here in Glasgow, ‘hauners’ a person (man or woman) needs to support them.

Even Zungu, hardly a big and popular player, was right in there defending the shirt, defending the man, taking it all on.

We’re extremely proud of this squad, and of this regime.

It’s the most Rangersy-Rangers since 9IAR.
