What’s happened to Lee Wallace…!?

A little bit of light relief for you, literally nothing to do with Rangers (any more) but it’ll give you a giggle.

As we all know, Lee Wallace ended up switching Rangers for QPR in the summer of 2019.

He wasn’t in favour under Stevie Gerrard for whatever reason, but was given a little cameo before the season ended so fans could say goodbye to him.

His career at Loftus Road hasn’t exactly gone too well either, the 33-year old managing barely more in the same time period as George Edmundson, with just 21 appearances down south.

However, he has been hampered with calf issues, and we really, really had to contain a chuckle at the following quote from QPR boss and former Rangers chief Mark Warburton:

“Lee is probably a little bit nearer than Oz (Kakay, also injured). Lee is probably seven to 10 days away.”

Yes, that’s right, the infamous 7-10 days which haunted Jordan Rossiter, John Eustace and a host of former players is back again, now at Loftus Road.

That quote was from early January and to be taken with the usual sack of saxa.

What happened to Lee Wallace?

We’ll find out in 7-10 days…
