Shock claim over Ibrox pair better not be true
PAISLEY, SCOTLAND - DECEMBER 30: Calvin Bassey of Rangers arrives ahead of the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between St.Mirren and Rangers at The Simple Digital Arena on December 30, 2020 in Paisley, Scotland. Information is reaching us, just like it did months ago about former Gers George Edmundson and Jordan Jones, that Nathan Patterson and Calvin Bassey did something similar to the departed pair last night and attended a house party in breach of covid rules.

The out-of-favour squad men have barely featured this season, and while young Patterson has impressed, Bassey’s last outing was desperately poor and he hasn’t played since, but this potential violation of restrictions would pretty much be the end of both players’ Rangers careers before they’d even got started.

Jones and Edmundson found themselves getting positive lip service a while after they were banned for 7 matches, but that’s all it was, lip service, and both were thrown out on loan as quick as Rangers could secure it.

After what ignominies the eastern lot have been up to with Dubai and Bolingoli, Rangers have been hyper strict with any violations of our own, and if it is true about Patterson and Bassey, they are very unlikely to play for the Famous again.

More as well get it.
