Elevation of JRG as Lennon tries to void 55

Celtic manager Neil Lennon might have dumped yet another two points last night, but his ‘crazy’ anti-St Johnstone and Hamilton rant has had the desired effect and is quietly threatening to null and void the season, following the heightened involvement of the JRG to investigate Scottish clubs.

For those who are on the moon, he complained about covid restrictions failing to be met by these clubs and others, with the desired impact of undermining season 20/21 and getting the campaign cancelled through safety concerns.

The JRG has elevated its investigations, and has written to top-flight Scottish clubs to get full explanations of exactly what measures are being taken to ensure full protocol is met amidst this crisis.

Of course, the threat here is that if the JRG aren’t happy with the responses and don’t feel they’re sufficient, then they could advise suspension or indeed termination of 20/21 as a result of concerns about health.

It was a canny move by Lennon, by directly accusing other clubs of poor conduct through this situation (ignoring his own club’s comical hypocrisy, naturally) he’s raised attention to the protocols and more importantly planted a seed of doubt in the minds of the authorities that certain Scottish clubs are able to implement the proper procedures.

Of course, he never raised the concerns about Hamilton or St Johnstone before now, despite the fact the protocol has been much the same for elite sports over the course of the season, but now that the season is as good as gone for his club, by raising it now he could potentially force the JRG to order the season is cancelled.

It’s smarmy, it’s snivelling, it’s snitching, but it’s clever.

We all thought the man was mad, but sadly, there was method in his madness.

This one will run and run…

  1. I thought the rates in Scotland were coming down now,so no need or reason for anything apart from collecting 55 WATP

    WATP🇬🇧🐂

  2. Surely any stoppage of football would be temporary. The situation will be much improved in 4 weeks with more and more people immune either because they’ve already had Covid or they’ve had at least the first vaccination. That could be close to 20m in the UK and covers of 90% of the people in danger of dying. Mid February till end of May would be plenty of time to finish the season.

  3. Said it before but as much as he ranted like a mad man he made sure he hit as many moving targets in the hope that one would bite. Hopefully the investigation finds them to be spouting the nonsense we all believe.

  4. The up roar from this wretches latest ranting bullshit because his team is slash is causing lots of nibbling and anxious anger in Scotland . If by any means that so called SFuckingA etc shithouses decide to deny us our true destiny . There will be serious consequences .
