Stevie to drop a number of players amidst big changes at Ibrox
Another puzzle?

Steven Gerrard is to make massive changes for the visit of Motherwell this weekend. In a must-win game (more than usual) Rangers have to respond to the loss at St Mirren, and Stevie is to ring the switches and restore his heavy hitters.

Borna Barisic, Steven Davis, Glen Kamara and Filip Helander could be among those to start at Ibrox, with Rangers of course denied the services of front man Alfredo Morelos which doesn’t help matters.

But it’s certain Rangers will have their proper compliment of full backs restored, while Helander may replace the recently-unsure Leon Balogun, who also had a major head knock in Paisley.

In midfield, Glen Kamara will replace the unimpressive Bongani Zungu, and Joe Aribo is also likely to drop out.

The major question, as we alluded to earlier today, is with attack, and whether Cedric Itten gets the nod again. It’s either him, Defoe or Roofe.

But either way there will be a lot of changes, and Rangers will field the strongest team they have at the weekend.

Anything less would be unacceptable.
