Rangers are reportedly keeping tabs on talented France U19 winger Billal Brahimi, who currently plies his trade in France’s third tier with Reims B.
The 20-year old attacker has a very decent reputation, with 8 goals and assists in 16 for Reims this campaign, and a career total of 10 goals and 10 assists in 48 career appearances.
While he is a work in progress, he’s one Rangers scouts would be earmarking for our B team until he’s ready to impact the senior group.
His main position is left wing but he has some experience on the other side and a touch at the apex of attack as well, but at his core he’s a left flanker.
The style of attacker that he’s said to be is extremely keen to work to get on the ball, like Ryan Kent, but also like Kent is incredibly unselfish with it and will bring in team mates constantly.
He’s described as ‘tricky’ which bodes well for his future and he really could be something good if he gets the right gig going forward.
Maybe that will be Rangers and Auchenhowie. We’ll see.
