Rangers are keeping tabs on French winger Thomas Robert, son of former France international Laurent, after the 20-year old made his move into the UK from Montpellier with League One side Airdrieonians.

The promising young talent, currently on 11 outings this season for former Rangers man Ian Murray’s side, made his first foray outside his homeland this year, and has impressed with 2 goals and 2 assists in 7 league appearances.

At just 20 he’d be likely considered an acquisition for the B team, and has a lot of experience to gain, but Rangers’ scouts, like those of Hearts and Celtic, according to reports, are looking at him and weighing up a move for him.

If he continues to impress, he could get a big upgrade soon.
