Another Celtic resignation weakens SFA further

The tide at the SFA continues to change as yet another Celtic-minded suit quits from the game’s governing body.

Following Compliance Officer Clare Whyte’s resignation some days ago, Performance Director Malky Mackay has similarly just left his role as well.

That’s two Celtic-oriented fat cats who have now handed in their notice and will leave the SFA permanently, and we can’t help wondering just how many more of these rats will desert the sinking ship like this.

There is a seismic tide shifting in Scottish football – Rangers are becoming the powerhouse again, slowly but surely, and while we need 55 to truly secure that confirmation, that Celtic-minded individuals can see it coming is enough for them to desert Hampden for good.

We’ve heard rumours the CE of the SFA is in fact a Rangers man, albeit we’re not sure about that one, but either way, the increasing exits of the Parkhead faithful from the upper annals of the game does point to positive movement.

Guess we just need to find a way to get shot of Doncaster now…
