Surprise Morelos bid could see end to saga
GLASGOW, SCOTLAND - OCTOBER 01: Alfredo Morelos of Rangers battles for possession with Christian Luyindama of Galatasaray during the UEFA Europa League play-off match between Rangers and Galatasaray at Ibrox Stadium on October 01, 2020 in Glasgow, Scotland. We’ve not yet looked at the latest bid from Al-Duhail to persuade Alfredo Morelos to move to Qatar.

The Colombian striker failed to get his European move this window, and for now remains a Rangers player, but the Qatar giants, who had a £13M bid rejected some time ago, have reportedly come back in for him and the Qatari window is open for a further well over two weeks.

They also have a fun caveat for the striker, with a partnership with French giants PSG, and there’s some piffle in the wind that this will get Alfredo Morelos a gig in Paris as well.

That does sound like nonsense, but the reality is who saw Van Dijk ending up this highly esteemed when he was at Parkhead?

Of course a VVD comes along once in a blue moon and we can’t just assume Morelos or anyone else will hit those heights, but it’s not impossible.

But either way, a move to the Middle East with a route back to Europe could be Morelos’ ticket, and the sooner any deal is done the better.

We don’t want to be stuck with an unhappy player.

But we’ll pass this one to you guys, do you want to keep Morelos or not?

Where do you stand now on Morelos?
Keep
Sell for any reasonable price
Sell only for big money

    • News to us Jim, all three of the options we provide have received a healthy chunk of votes, whatever our own views are! If you have a technical issue, perhaps get in touch?

  1. I would have sold him during the window , but now its closed we gotta keep him till January or its gonna leave us short up front ??
He needs to get his first out of his arse very quickly though or he will be going nowhere in a hurry

  2. Qué Sara Sara what will b will b his aptitude has been excellent and Ness to help the term is there for all to see. Must try and keep him.

  3. won’t let me vote but I would sell him for a good price the now his heart is not in rangers now the last couple of games proved it
