There’s no denying Rangers have not it easy with injuries of late.

Ibrox Noise brings you as up to date as we can on all cases and where the squad currently is, before the end of the international break.

Niko Katic:

Ok easy one here. He’s still very much in the mire of a very serious injury – we’re not sure if he’s out of crutches yet, but he’s months away from a return. This one basically destroyed his season. We’d pencil him in for an optimistic January return. Maybe.

Borna Barisic:

He’s been an injury issue ever since two previous breaks ago, and he’s got another one – he wasn’t involved last night, and he’s said to be struggling to be fit for the Old Firm. It seems like a recurrence of his first season injury plague is back.

Kemar Roofe:

Calf problem was scanned some weeks ago and was more serious than initially diagnosed. There is no strict return date on this guy, and best hope is he’ll be fit to play some role in the Old Firm, assuming it goes ahead. But we just don’t know.

Joe Aribo:

It’s worryingly quiet about Aribo – we got an initial 6-8 weeks on him officially but we suggested on this site it might be November before he came back. He’s not in training yet, but has been seen among the group of unavailables at Ibrox. We just don’t have anything concrete on his progress.

Filip Helander:

We hope this is nothing critically serious but obviously he had to pull out of Sweden duty and the issue has been modestly described as a ‘slight injury’. Only ‘slight’ that he’s not only had to leave the Sweden camp, but is a huge doubt now for the 17th. At present, Rangers are now back down to three CBs.

Ryan Jack:

Ok, he’s technically recovered from his last injury but Jack had to be taken off on 65 minutes v County and his fitness is now an issue of concern as he gets older. He’s had calf troubles for years, and it’s not always been managed well, so he’s one we want to keep an eye on. He joined up with the Scotland squad for the break.

We think that’s the bulk, there’s definitely a few sicknotes in there.
