Rangers’ extraordinary run in all competitions now goes back almost a month. True, there was an international break in there as well, but the last time Rangers actually conceded a goal was remarkably v Gala in the 2-1 win on the 1st of this month, and Ibrox Noise wanted to look at some key numbers, stats and facts in recent times to explore just how good this team has been of late.

8 goals scored, none conceded – last four matches.

1 shot on target – between all three of our last opponents.

16 shots on target – Rangers against our last three opponents.

20 shots on target – versus our last four opponents.

54.6 yards – the record-breaking distance Kemar Roofe scored maybe the greatest goal in history from.

0 – the number of wins Celtic have managed in the last three matches.

There’s a tonne more, we could go into the meagre number of touches Allan McGregor has had, or the modest number of clearances our defenders have had to make – but we shall not.

Of course, the most crucial of the lot is the wins – what comprises them doesn’t really matter.

But it’s nice when the team plays this well too.
