Steven Gerrard has confirmed his final 21-man squad to face the Red Imps on Thursday.
Some deputies are in, some injuries are cleared, and Ibrox Noise brings you the full list:
McGregor, McLaughlin, Firth, Tavernier, Bassey, Edmundson, Helander, Goldson, Barisic, Hagi, Jack, Davis, Kent, Kamara, Stewart, Arfield, Defoe, Itten, Morelos, Roofe, Jones.
The main misses:
Balogun, Barker, Aribo, Katic.
In actual fact Rangers’ potentially desperate injury situation has cleared up somewhat, and while we don’t know just how fit McGregor, Jack and Morelos especially actually are, their place on the plane does suggest they have a fighting chance of featuring in some capacity.
Let’s not underestimate the Imps, as Ibrox Noise’s Derek pointed out, they’re no mugs, and despite their lowly reputation, they are capable of winning at this level as Celtic found out their cost.
Rangers will need to be on full attention and form to get the result we require, and thankfully it appears there are strong resources now to achieve that with.
It’s should be a seemingly a simple process of not conceeding , scoring and keeping focussed professionally.
We never do thinks simply tho so let’s just get it done and move on .
Thought Gerrard said Jack is out for a least a couple of weeks, so why is he travelling
