Farce as press ‘make stuff up’ about Rangers again
He's second from left in case the press are needing help here....

Surprise surprise as the press get it wrong again about Rangers. After red top reports defender Leon Balogun had been left out of the flight and squad to face Willem II, not only did the official Europa League sheet confirm he was included, but he’s been pictured on the Koning Willem II Stadion pitch in the build up to the match!

He replaces the injured Kemar Roofe whose fitness issues added to those of others are a concern for sure, but Balogun at least did travel although whether he’s in the picture to feature in this match is quite another matter.

The Nigeria international, in impressive form before his injury, has seen that start immensely disrupted, but his return to the squad properly and likely place on the bench tonight (if not more) is a much welcome boost along with his manager Steven Gerrard’s confirmation there’s no fresh concerns thankfully.

There’s no place this time for Ryan Jack, Joe Aribo or Brandon Barker but it appears Jack this time definitely did not fly.
