Edmiston Drive on Match Day... (Photo by Mark Runnacles/Getty Images)

Something a little different in this one; we were contacted by a regular, who had an interesting suggestion or two, and we are curious on your take of these:

1: The closing of Edmiston Drive outside Ibrox – it’s unneeded as a thoroughfare and would be better served paved over as a complete walkway.

2: A new garden plot outside the stadium as a 24/7 Remembrance Shrine, held securely at the walls with flower placeholders so the laid flowers aren’t just left on the ground like they are for the 2nd of January.

The gentleman pointed out West Ham do it for their supporters with Boleyn Ground Memorial Garden which is to undergo full future development, and given we’re extremely frontline with our strong support for the troops and Remembrance, it seems quite logical to install all this, once of course our current social, health and international difficulties are more under control.

We’re in favour of this, if cash can be allocated for it safely without putting anything/anyone out.

And by this we mean both. Both the rebirth of Edmiston Drive and the installation of a proper Remembrance plot.

Let us know your feelings on this, and if there’s enough support for it we can see what we all can do.

Would you like either of these suggestions taken further?
