Potentially frustrating story coming out of Ibrox

In news which might frustrate some Rangers fans, the club has today again been linked with another Liverpool youngster on a loan, in the form of 20-year old Rhian Brewster.

Said to be worth in the region of £5M, the English-born forward is currently on loan at Swansea, and has six caps for his country at U21 level.

He has four in 11 for the Welsh giants in the Championship this season, which isn’t too bad, and his overall career is 24 in 59 with 14 assists, but all bar 5 of those goals were in the PL2 or in youth competitions while all the assists were in those lesser tournaments.

He has featured three times for Liverpool at senior level, all being in the domestic cups, and he’s described as quick, versatile and adaptable to different positions in the front three. He puts pressure on defenders with smart dribbling and can also defend. He’s reported as good at getting space, finding space and breaking away from defenders.

BUT. He’s yet another Liverpool kid not deemed good enough for the PL never mind Jurgen Klopp, and once again instead of taking an Auchenhowie graduate we instead opt for Stevie’s mates at Anfield.

Sure, this lad could well be a player, but if he was, why is he on loan at the Championship?

We’re dubious about this, true or not, and starting to get more than a little irritated by the transfer activity.

First Bassey now this?
