Blockbuster – Rangers fans hit with three staggering developments at Ibrox

An astonishing trilogy of breaking stories today has seen tongues wagging and developments at Ibrox unfold big time.

Let’s take you through the powderkeg trio:

Revamp of the megastore.

Rangers’ have confirmed, once the present crisis is abated, that work is planned this summer on refurbishing the main Ibrox Megastore. Obviously, the nature of this work is as yet unclear but it’s getting a big face lift. This story is perhaps the least important but still good.

The second is claims Sports Direct will be gone by July. According to rumours online, Mike Ashley will be completely out of Rangers’ picture deep into the summer, although we’re more than a touch curious what’s happened behind closed doors to facilitate this – nothing was won in court, so time will tell on that one.

And the final one is possibly the juiciest of all – premium sports manufacturer Castore, who are famous for working with tennis megastar Andy Murray, are said to be the next kit maker for Rangers. A marquee manufacturer, rather than the more ‘budget’ mainstream ones, Castore, Liverpool-based, have confirmed they are moving into football club shirts, and will be working with clubs in the UK. Rangers appear to be one such, and we can only salivate at how good the shirts will look made by this top quality brand.

We’ll look more into these stories as time goes on, but all three are top-class and certainly the way forward.
