Rangers fans will love what Jason Holt has just said

Rangers midfielder Jason Holt has confirmed he will leave Rangers at the end of the season, aka now, but left fans with the best wishes and admitted his time at Ibrox was the highlight of his career and always will be.

The 27-year old is ‘currently’ on loan at St Johnstone but his Govan deal won’t be renewed on expiry this year, but he is only too happy that he had a chance to put on the light blue.

He said:

“There’s no better place to play your football and it was different class.”

Very true Holty, very true. Bear in mind Holt is allegedly a Jambo, a boyhood Hearts fan, but was with the Rangers fans at Parkhead in 2011 and clearly is one of us in principle, and certainly is now having plied his trade at Ibrox with such distinction and dignity.

True, he wasn’t quite good enough to make the step up to the SPL with the club, but few players have given the club more than Holt, and few held themselves with such honour either.

A genuinely popular player, we really wish the lad well with the rest of his career, and it’s a truly classy statement for him to come out with, despite being axed by the present manager.

Good luck Holty.
