Another dropped points, another post-mortem.
Sadly since the winter break this has become quite normal, and by current form, dreadfully, Rangers are fifth in the SPL.
That’s right, our form since the turnaround has been so abject that the last five matches’ form sees Celtic top, with St Johnstone second, Killie third, Hibs fourth, and Rangers languishing diabolically in fifth.
Rangers have dropped 7 points of a possible 15 lately, and we can now safely say this present malaise has become a crisis.
Fans are understandably unhappy, albeit a number defend Steven Gerrard, but an increasing number are doing the opposite now.
We noticed this after the Killie match, that our manager was under the first real pressure and scrutiny he’d suffered since taking the post, and after today’s shambles, that’s intensified a lot for a great many supporters.
At Ibrox Noise our feeling now is he has taken us as far as he can, and for all the good he’s done, and he has done a lot of good, the current form disgrace is majorly down to him and his squad’s complete loss of sparkle.
End of the day whoever you blame for this, Rangers are as good as out of the title race – they never came back from Dubai and we think they’re still celebrating at Parkhead.
