Turkish giants join European queue for Borna Barisic

Roma and AC Milan’s reported interest in Borna Barisic has been joined by Turkish giants Fenerbahce as some of Europe’s biggest sides start to form a queue for the hot-in-demand left back.

Barisic’s agent has confirmed Roma’s interest in his client, and AC Milan are certainly in need of quality players which Barisic most definitely is, while the Turks’ manager Ersun Yanal is said to be a big admirer of the former Osijek man.

In short, this lucrative star is going to attract attention from the biggest clubs in Europe and any potential bids for his signature will be big, big money.

This is a level of interest above even what is reported for Morelos, with mainly midtable PL sides looking at the Colombian, and the Croat, if he is to be sold, will destroy the SPL record for Kieran Tierney.

As a pivotal part of Stevie’s Rangers, Barisic is viewed as essential to launch a serious bid at 55, but every player has his price and we can expect only massive bids to make Rangers consider.

And each of those clubs mentioned certainly has the funds, Milan possibly aside, to finance a massive move for the 27-year old.

Either way, big European teams seem to be interested and it’s going to take a lot of resistance to fend them off.

  1. It's no wonder, really. His corners and crosses have been phenomenal. He's been a real asset, this season. So glad we never got rid of him, last season.

  2. I really hope we don't sell him. Best full back we have had since Numan, by far, and he is one player we really need if we hope to win the league.
Rangers need to put up a NOT-FOR-SALE sign!
