Rangers have just signed £10M Romanian superstar – for free

Rangers have secured a transfer window stunner by securing a loan with option to buy of Turkish/Romanian superstar Ianis Hagi. Yes, THAT Hagi.

Gheorghe Hagi’s son, 21, is already a firmly-established Romania (born in Turkey) international, and with 7 goals and assists this season in 14 appearances for current side Genk, this represents Rangers’ best signing in a very, very long time.

While many fans might not recognise his son by name individually, the lad’s career so far is one going to the very top, and the former Fiorentina man, who already has five appearances in the UCL, is every inch the quality of his father.

An attacking midfielder by trade, he has 10 Romanian caps to boast of already, having been an assured youth international at all the levels – in short this is a breathtaking signing and we’re not even 100% sure how we managed it.

This kid has a market value of around £10M.

What a coup.
