Bizarre Ibrox mystery deepens with latest developments

In a deepening mystery, Rangers captain James Tavernier was taken to hospital today and his prognosis is something of a mystery.

Some claim illness, some claim injury, and the biggest standout story is about a burst appendix.
Sources say he was taken to Ross Hall, which is a common facility for footballers in Scotland, but his situation is unclear as is any spell on the sidelines.
In truth no one seems to really know what’s happened to him.
We wish him the best of health and a speedy recovery whatever it is.

  1. Apparently not as bad as reported. Hopefully opens the door to give Nathan Patterson a run out rather than fall back on Flanagan or Polster.

  2. From Todays Press Conference>>
The Tavernier rumours are untrue he will miss a couple of weeks not a good few months as was speculated. He had a quick procedure and is now recovering.
Tavernier's appendix could have been a worse issue but we got the right people on it. Nobody wants to lose their captain for a small period of time. There was no issue in Dubai but when he returned he was in discomfort.
