Further to our earlier announcement about the comments system, a bit more information for you.

As you can see, we’ve redesigned the system to provide a safer environment – all users must now provide basic credentials, and ‘unknowns’, Celtic fans and trolls are banned. We had trouble before weeding them out but that’s no longer an issue.

Your data is treated with the utmost respect and security, and is only used on-site for verification purposes – it will not be passed on nor will anyone other than Ibrox Noise ‘use’ it.

Existing comments using the old comments engine have been restored as of today, so older articles will have both comments systems – but the old comments system will not allow for any new comments, only the new system will. Old comments are restored for archive and reference purposes.

We’d like to thank you for the response we’ve had to the overhauled approach – overwhelmingly positive and it’s also understood why we went this route, which we are grateful for. We appreciate your trust in us.
