Borna Barisic’s agent Ives Cakarun has admitted in the interest from Roma, but revealed it’s not ‘concrete’.

Rangers have put a not for sale tag on the Croat, and press in Italy claim Rangers want at least £12M for the club’s star performer, but this is still well below the numbers that would even make Rangers look twice never mind consider.

His agent said:

“A move to Roma? There still isn’t anything concrete, but let’s see.”

Admittedly he was speaking to another pro-Roma site, so how seriously we can take any of this is unknown, but either way Rangers have stated the player is not for sale, unless silly money is bid, and £12M does not come close to being silly money.

Barisic will not go anywhere this window.
