Rangers are in line for a further whopping near-£4M bonus with a win tonight in the Europa League.
At least £5M has already been secured in the various endeavours of the UEL, but tonight not only will a packed-out Ibrox pocket Rangers another £2M+ in gate receipts, but a win on the night another £500,000 plus going to the last 32 as group winners secures yet another £1M.
Meaning a grand total of considerably over £3.5M just for a single effective win, giving the club further revenue and potentially extra funds for January.
We have of course omitted TV cash from this, divided as it is between Rangers and Celtic, but rest assured that’s bringing in a pile of income for the coffers too.
But with a win tonight, Rangers secure a definite near-£4M bonus, which is never bad news.
