Liverpool shock could see stunning ripple effect at Ibrox

After confirming Harry Wilson and Ryan Kent would not be going out on further loans, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has carried out a stunning 180 and loaned Wilson out to Premiership side Bournemouth, paving the way for a shock reverse on Kent too.

The former Hull and Derby winger was given a market value of £25M, and was classed alongside Kent as a player who would not be going out on loan again – but this about-turn for the winger suggests Kent’s chances of returning to Rangers have been given a significant boost.

The reality is no interest in buying these players has been made, at the values Liverpool set - £25M for Wilson and £12M for Kent before the latter was reduced to borderline half price – and Klopp doesn’t appear to want unhappy players who can’t get a match for Liverpool sulking in the U23s.

It helps no one.

With Wilson’s move now to Eddie Howe’s men, Kent may just get his move back north after all.

We thought it was dead, but it seems it isn’t.
