The Alfredo Morelos Kemar Roofe saga today took a significant group of twists which poured some doubt over either deal happening while equally suggesting it still could happen.
Alfredo Morelos has been heavily linked with a switch to Selhurst Park in recent weeks, but Sky Sources confirmed Palace interest in… Kemar Roofe rather than Morelos!
Morelos has been reportedly interesting Palace and West Ham of late, and a glut of others, but Sky Sources have rather contradicted that by saying it is Roofe Palace are interested in, and not Morelos.
Meanwhile to confuse it all further, Sky Sources also suggest that Brighton are also interested in Roofe, but curiously enough excluded Rangers from the interested pack.
So, to sum all that mess up – Crystal Palace are now apparently NOT interested in Alfredo Morelos, West Ham may still be, while Palace ARE interested in alleged Rangers target Kemar Roofe but who sources EXCLUDE from interest but INCLUDE Brighton instead (!)
Meanwhile, further reports allege Rangers’ ‘dropping out’ of the Kemar story is not entirely accurate, and it is more that Rangers were directly informed by his agent the Jamaican striker would be available for £2M, which is completely untrue. He will cost a minimum of £5M.
So, if you want to make sense of all that chaos, be our guests.
Instead, we’re going for a lie down.
