“Got to keep him”, “Too slow and over rated”; Rangers fans split on potential massive summer sale

Scott Arfield has been linked with a big-money switch to the English Premier League over the past few weeks, and with the incredible maiden season he had at Ibrox, his stock has never been higher and Rangers could easily command a fee in the £10M region for his services.

However, Ibrox Noise was very interested to see if Rangers fans would endorse such a sale – is Arfield’s value to the team more important than his value to the board, and should Rangers consider selling at the right price?

In a recent poll, the response was verging on split. 56% reckoned Arfield should be retained no matter the offer received, while 46% suggested he can leave if the price is right.

At Ibrox Noise we think he’s priceless and we’re with the 56% – his importance is critical, and he’s a colossal part of what Steven Gerrard is trying to achieve – the manager has said about Arfield what he only previously said about Morelos – that he absolutely loves him and wants him to stay.

But money does talk and if a huge offer arrive, there will be a decision to make. Truth is, we hope it gets rejected should it come in. No matter how massive.

  1. i,m thinking a huge amount of Rangers fans have no idea about football if they think Scott Arfield is not one of the top players at the Brox. Must be kept in my opinion. This is a player who walked all over The Turd from across the city. Its been a long time since a player in a Rangers shirt did that.

  2. Sell him ? Really ? Let's just give them 10 now. Unbelievably some fans don't rate this man. WATP
