Could Rangers land one or more of these Liverpool players on loan?

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard used his connections at Liverpool to bring three players to Ibrox in 2018-19. Ovie Ejaria and Ryan Kent both arrived on loan, while former Reds full-back Jon Flanagan joined Rangers on a free transfer. Now, with Gerrard headed into his second season at Ibrox, he could leverage his relationship for further loan deals. Rangers supporters are excited about the manager’s second season and can use the latest sign up offer to wager on the Glasgow club when the term kicks off.  Which Liverpool players could line up in the Rangers team in 2019-20? Let’s look at some possibilities.

1. Sheyi Ojo

Sheyi Ojo has already agreed a loan transfer to Rangers that will see him at Ibrox until the end of the 2019-20 season. The winger joined Liverpool’s senior team in 2015 but has spent much of his career on loan at clubs including Wigan Athletic, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Reims.
The 22-year-old doesn’t look likely to have a future at Liverpool but could fit in nicely at Ibrox. Ojo joined Liverpool at the age of 14 when a host of European clubs were after him.

2. Rafael Camacho

Rafael Camacho made two appearances for Liverpool in all competitions last season but rarely had a sniff of first team football with the club gunning for silverware. The 19-year-old is a winger and attacking midfielder, but Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp used Camacho as a right-back during their FA Cup third round match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Portuguese teenager would offer Gerrard a player that can fit into various roles and positions. Camacho could be earmarked for a future at Anfield but it seems likely he could use some first-team experience elsewhere first. Camacho is wanted by other clubs around Europe and could be on the move.

3. Ryan Kent

Kent excelled at Ibrox last term and Gerrard has stated he “loves” the winger. Klopp is set to make a decision over Kent in the coming days. Whether he will let the 22-year-old return to Rangers is the big question.

Liverpool could choose to sell Kent rather than loan him back out. If that is the case, Rangers may not be able to land him. Kent scored six goals and tallied four assists in 27 Premiership games last season. His return would add continuity to the club for 2019-20.

4. Tom Gallacher

Full-back Tom Gallacher joined Liverpool from Falkirk in January 2018 for £200,000. The Scotland youth international has been learning his trade in the Liverpool academy and with his 20th birthday approaching, it looks like he could be loaned out.
Rangers would be a perfect fit for Gallacher to slowly gain first-team playing time. Rumors have already linked other Scottish clubs with Gallacher. Could Rangers sign him before anyone else pounces?

5. Ben Woodburn

Gerrard became well acquainted with Ben Woodburn during their times with Liverpool’s academy. The manager wanted Woodburn on loan last season, but Liverpool chose to send the midfielder to Sheffield United instead.
Unfortunately, the 19-year-old didn’t play a hand in the Blades’ automatic promotion to the Premier League. He featured just seven times for Sheffield United. Woodburn’s future is now up in the air and his career may lie away from Anfield. Could it be at Ibrox?
