Rangers ready to do big favour for ‘enemy’ club? Reports

Jordan Rossiter today has been linked with a stunning loan move to Dundee United, according to reports in the media.

The 21-year old anchor man simply hasn’t been able to hold a place in the first team this season despite maintaining a decent level of fitness, and as Ibrox Noise suggested months ago, he was a prime target to leave this winter, albeit we posited it as more likely being a mutual consent termination rather than a loan.

The loan to Utd is intriguing – Rangers aren’t exactly the Tannadice side’s best friend, and indeed the toxicity between both clubs in years gone by does make us wonder why we’d do them a favour giving them what would be, effectively, the best midfielder in Scotland outside the SPL, but the boy desperately needs game time and that is something we do want to see.

Rossiter has had a torrid career, not just at Ibrox, but period. Injuries have plagued him from his teenage years and he’s barely been able to put anything like a season together as a result.

If the temporary switch to the Championship can help this lad, then we are in favour of it. But why did it have to be the Arabs…

  1. Problem was Stephen Thompson not DUFC. Thompson is away so not as toxic a move as it would have been a year ago.

  2. Thompson may be gone , but he wasn’t in the stands shouting for our team to be disbanded!
Fuck them give them nothing . Ever!

  3. He does need games but it doesn't need to be at Dundee Utd. I'm sure teams like Dundee, St Mirren and St Johnstone would be keen to take him on.
