This brilliant stat gives Rangers an incredible chance tomorrow

With Rangers facing Celtic tomorrow in the big midday showdown at Ibrox, supporters on both sides are wondering just what kind of encounter they’ll get this time.

Rangers haven’t won against Celtic in the SPL in our last 10 attempts, and it doesn’t take a genius to point out that this is the longest spell of non-wins for either side in the fixture in its history.

Plus Celtic have won the past four times they visited Ibrox since the famous 3-2 win in 2012. So it could be argued history favours Brendan Rodgers’ side.

However, since losing 3-2 in the Spring Celtic, Rangers have only lost eight goals at Ibrox in the league, and never more than a single one in any match. The defence has been pretty decent in the league at home and we hope that continues.

Moreover, the biggest good news is that Celtic have already lost as many away matches this campaign (3 of 10) as they did the entire Brendan Rodgers tenure until this season (3 of 38), so they’re further vulnerable for sure under the former Liverpool boss.

If there is a time for Rangers to finally break the Old Firm hoodoo it’s tomorrow – Rangers’ form is not stunning but Celtic are extremely exposed right now – possibly no Tierney, and definitely no Rogic as well to add into the mix.

Rangers can do it.

  1. Can we?,whos gonna score goals, cos septic have no problem scoring goals every week,
Morelos will get sent off they will target him for a windup for sure

  2. I see your still clinging on to hope there mate and still talking them down don't be surprised if we get a right good skelping tomorrow now. The players the tramps can bring in to replace Rogic and Tierney is frighting . I will take a point now couldn't suffer another defeat from the these tramps. WATP NO SURRENDER

    • theres defeats, and theres defeats. Sounds crazy I know, but there are losses where you think, okay we can bounce back from that, and then there are utter demoralising hammerings. If Celtic win tomorrow, it wont be a narrow victory, If Rangers are to prevail it will be such.

  3. Think best we can hope for is 0-0. Too many players carrying injuries going into this game. They have better players, simple as that.

  4. sometimes when its not expected teams win that are expected to be beaten lets hope tomorrow our players stand up to the plate.our fans deserve to be celebrating at full time.my prediction 2/1 cmon rangers

  5. If we are to beat them, We need to go straight for their throats like the way Hearts played in the 4-0 drubbing them lot got at Tynecastle

  6. If we end up with Worrall and Katic in central defence, then I fear we will get a real doing. Keeping my fingers crossed that Goldsen and McAuley are able to play, in which case we should be more secure at the back which will hopefully give us a platform from which to build going forward. They do have better players in most positions, but if we can defend like we did in most European games then you never know. A double from Morelos just might be enough!

  7. Good positives in most posts but we are miles off in terms of ability to cope as a team, we have some hope up front but then Mr M just does not hit it off against top teams, he is pretty much on his own (scoring) and as a result I think we will be trounced.J

  8. Play Lafferty behind Morelos. Too simple for words but it won't happen… Think we'll nick it 2-1 though, and if we do, then new year starts noo!

  9. FUCKIN AWESOME THE DOMINATORS!
