Rangers face Dundee tomorrow in a match which will be taken very seriously given both clubs’ respective last results.
But it’s clear Rangers have a number of players who are not delivering consistently, regardless of position or form, and for a win to be secured, Steven Gerrard must consider a significant number of changes in order to get defence back on track, midfield with composure and attack with venom.
For this one the back four should be Tavernier, McAuley, Worrall and Barisic.
Worrall might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but when it comes to vital game-saving tackles, his positioning is top drawer. He is in far better form than the off-boil Goldson, while Barisic simply has to start and solve Rangers’ trials and tribulations at left back.
In midfield Jack can sit in his usual role, with Scott Arfield thankfully returning. There can be no place for either Lassana Coulibaly or Ovie Ejaria, with either Ross McCrorie or Jordan Rossiter taking that slot. We’d pick Rossiter in a more central midfield position with Arfield ahead of him.
Up front Ryan Kent must be in the XI – while his form tailed off marginally before his injury, at times he’s been unplayable on the left, and can hurt any defence around. Alfredo Morelos will not be available, meaning a likely start for Kyle Lafferty, and we’d like to see Eros Grezda as Kent’s counterpart.

Glad morelos is getting a "rest" he looked tired against ABZ and coullabalys form means hes got to be dropped. Rossiter needs a run of games imo to really see what he brings. Potential great player there!!
Connor goldson is way and far our best centre half and starts every week for me.Its who partners him that's the bigger decision.

Thought Arfield was banned for 2 games? Good news that one. I was going to suggest Halliday to replace him, or Grezda. Coulibaly and Ejaria need a rest, they are not contributing enough.
Not sure he will play McAuley twice a week, so will depend on his planned CBs for Thursday. And doubt Kent will go straight back in after a while out. Has he had any Reserve minutes? I know Barisic has.

I'd go with that team. However, I don't know about "crush" comment. Again inconsistency is our enemy. January window is so vital this season. Get rid of Coulibaly, Ejaria and Sadiq. And bring in players who know how to fight in the middle of the park and not bottle it on big occasions. A quality skilful midfielder required to unlock defences who park the bus, like the sheep did!
Again, I'm not confident going into any game due to our inconsistency. We will be fighting for 2nd/3rd place this season, unless we can get the January window right.

That team should be fine – keen to see Grezda develop. I’d give Foderingham the game tomorrow as well. Keeps him involved and McGregor ready for Thursday.
Get Barasic and Kent in there. It's bad enough that we miss these players for 3 or 4 weeks when they are injured but to then give them another 2 weeks on top of that when they are fit is just nonsense. Stop mollycoddling them. If they are fit get them straight back in the team.
IN I'm surprised that after your "McInnes will be shaking" comments from Wednesday that you come back with a "crush Dundee" comment. It implies all we need to do is turn up and we were firmly put back in our box on Wednesday. Sometimes I think the players get these ridiculous notions in their heads. We are not good enough to treat other teams with that type of contempt.
