Revealed: the real reason key Rangers man lost form

New information has shed light on the recent poor form of Rangers’ Malian international Lassana Coulibaly.

As regulars will know, his form became titanic over the course of July and August, before injury v St Mirren curtailed his progress, and his return some months later didn’t not pick up with the same fervour.

However, according to reports, Coulibaly lost his father suddenly around November, shedding major light on the on-loan Angers’ man’s loss of form since his return to fitness, and if this is 100% confirmed true (we do know for certain he had a family bereavement in early November) then massive dispensation must given to the player for his sub-bar displays and we can only apologise here at Ibrox Noise for giving him a hard time over his performances.

Many of us know how hard it is losing a parent, and for him to do so at such a young age is a tragedy.

Naturally we cannot afford to carry ‘passengers’ whatever the cause of a player’s poor form may be, but we are also human and are entirely understanding of his situation if this information is confirmed true.

Our thoughts and sympathies go out to him and we hope he can get the support he needs to both recover mentally and physically as much as feasible.
