Rangers fans show their incredible class

Rangers fans showed their class again yesterday during the Remembrance commemorations with some outstanding displays shot by Ibrox Noise’s resident snapper Scott Kavanagh.

As you can see, the card displays and general respect paid to those whose lives were lost were to the usual Rangers standard, and the club and its fans continue to pioneer the level of homage our brave servicemen and women are given.

As has become the norm, when large media groups start to discuss the Remembrance reflections around the country by clubs, Rangers are usually the first one noted given how we pave the way to truly honour these soldiers in the way they deserve stands alone.

And as you can see from Scott’s captures, once again the supporters have outdone themselves with yet another immaculate display.

It was 100 years to the day since the end of WWI – Britain was in raptures at the end of the Great War, and celebrations ran through the land, until they faded into sombre reflection over the devastation the horrors had left behind as their legacy.

We will always remember these brave people who gave us the ultimate sacrifice so that we could enjoy the privilege of freedom, and for all its faults today, Britain is what it is thanks to them and to all the similarly heroic servicemen and women who continue to protect our way of life today. Their sacrifice is equally honoured and never forgotten.

We Will Remember Them.

  1. Well done to all those who participated in this display. Their actions make me proud whilst the actions of our servicemen make me humble.

  2. Once again the Parkhead Provos appeared to be the only club in Britain with no poppies on their shirts. Speaks volumes, especially after their ridiculous statement last week that Celtic Boys Club has nothing to do with them.

    • Hi Shuman, we’re proud of our part in this poignant reflection; let’s not drag ourselves down to critique of others. Leave that for others to judge.

    • I've been boiling inside since the statement from Celtic and after watching the weekend football north and south of the border when all were wearing poppies I only got worse. I saw my first game at Ibrox in 1959 and well remember the situation with Torbett at Celtic. You are right when you say leave the criticism to others but the media never does.

  3. For Those that Make the Ultimate Sacrifice 👏

    We will Remember them all

    Gone but never Forgotten

Politicians who took us to war should have been given the guns and told to settle their differences themselves, instead of organising nothing better than legalised mass murder.
