Poll results; 82% of Rangers fans want summer signing dropped

There’s no denying Rangers’ form has been a big problem recently. A number of key players have not been properly producing the goods, and results have suffered.

One of the most guilty is Mali’s Lassana Coulibaly. The on-loan midfielder had such a bright start, but has barely been seen in almost a month since his injury v St Mirren on 12th September.

As such, Ibrox Noise took to the polls to ask our readers if they felt Steven Gerrard needed to bench him.

An overwhelming 82% wanted to see Coulibaly out the first team and someone take his place – Jordan Rossiter seemed a pretty prominent name, given he’s got three years to catch up with and the club has been putting him in prominent spotlight of late.

Regulars will know we’re big fans of the chirpy Scouser, and his energy and work rate are assets to our club – only 12% want Lassana Coulibaly to remain in the team and he sadly isn’t demonstrating those same assets so his desired dropping comes as no real surprise.

There are many others, Jack, McCrorie and Rossiter – but one player the fans would like to see rested is the man on loan from Angers.
