Rangers striker target drops major hint about next move…

Rangers target Oliver McBurnie has kept fans’ hopes alive
with a cryptic tweet today.

The forward has been linked with a move north to his boyhood
team, but despite reports of a £4.5M bid made for him, no move has as yet
materialised.
National tabloids have today made claims his move to Ibrox
is dead and he is currently negotiating a new deal at Swansea,
but the Scotland
international has suggested that is not true with this tweet:

Naturally we will learn in due course what really is true
and what is not, and similarly McBurnie’s advice is actually good advice in
general, not just when reading the red tops, but regardless, Rangers are
definitely on the look out for more attacking flair and threat, and despite the
incoming Umar Sadiq, manager Steven Gerrard still wants more up front.
Whether McBurnie is set to ever arrive on these shores is
less clear, but it is more than suggested that he wants to.
The story goes on.

  1. I think it would be a good signing but it will depend on us selling too. Windass perhaps …Cardoso !!

  2. l hope he never arrives, seen him play a number of times, bang average, 1 good game for Scotland does not turn him in Ronaldo, a definite no from me

    3. Will Score for Fun Up Here

  4. Not sure of the boy McBurnie. To use the line from the Gatusso press conference “ sometimes may be good, sometimes maybe shit”.

All this gash about ‘he’s a bear’ is rediculous. I for one don’t care what team our players supported as a boy, imit matters not a jot. Our history is littered with true greats who grew up supporting other teams so it’s totally irrelevant …. it’s what they do in light blue is all that matters. We’ve had so called bears in the side for years and they have shat the nest and failed to turn up against the tims many times.

There are far better with ability out there than McBurnie and let’s hope that’s the only criteria for our manager.

  5. £4m for this guy would be worse than what we paid for Pena! His scoring record is poor, he looked well out of his depth for Scotland and is still very raw.
A pre contract maybe but to buy him just because hes a Gers fan is nonsense. Healy, Dorrans, Halliday and countless others have been dyed in the wool fans and flopped big time.
    We have signed many Celtic supporting players who were fantastic for us (McCann, Wee Mo) so basing targets on their allegiance is daft. What we need to know is;
    Can they play?
    Can they handle Glasgow?
Can they handle the weight of our expectations?
Can they buy into our mantra and wear the royal blue with pride?
If they can then they will do for me!
