PHOTO: Rangers target arrives in Scotland

Umar Sadiq has finally touched down in Scotland to put the finishing touches to his year-long loan to Rangers from Italian giants Roma.

Pictured as he arrived, the Nigerian youth international was reported to have arrived in Glasgow last week, but this appears to have been a false sighting, and we can confirm the 21-year old striker is finally in Scotland and should be announced tomorrow.

It’s been a bit of a protracted saga, taking longer than it should have, and was reported to have been subject to a work permit application; but whatever the delay was, the future Nigerian international has arrived to finally sign on in Govan and will be eligible for selection for Thursday night’s Europa League opener against Macedonians Shkupi.

It provides a badly-needed boost up front, and Rangers now have Alfredo Morelos, Umar Sadiq and the promising Zak Rudden as artillery in attack. About time!

  2. Remember Ted mcminn he was gangly and don't forget mark Hatley we could do with a target man what's happening with the other possible loanee from angers in France it's also time Ashley left us Alone we will never get financial stability with all these continued court cases blighting us I hate to say this but maybe king should step aside on a temporary basis while the court cases continue and put Walter in his place as the intrim chairman for the greater good of the club .we as the club need positive publicity from a biased media .I have one question where are the clubs ambassadors why don't we hear themore defend the club against these negative bullshitters from our nearest rivals and the scotish media .

  3. There is no turning back now SG is the man and do we have a chance yes we do BR looks like he is going stay with much the same side as he has for last two years i think its good for us and bad for them, but what if it goes the way like Murty and his team and we still can not beat them will SG still be the man for us,i say let the show begin and bring it on.
