Rangers’ injury woes continue as ever-present a doubt for weekend

Rangers have been hit by another injury blow as goalkeeper Wes Foderingham is a doubt for Dundee following a suspected calf injury.

The Rangers’ number one has had mixed performances this season, with both good and bad moments punctuating his time between the sticks, but he, like Windass, did not train today but in his case will be assessed in the morning to see if he is able to line up for Dundee.

Murty confirmed the 27-year old, who signed a new deal last year, felt something in his leg this morning and Jak Alnwick could very likely be in goal should that not clear up by tomorrow.

He said:

“He felt something today, so you’re always going to be conservative the day before a game. He missed the training session today but we’ll assess him in the morning and see how he is. A lower limb issue.”

Rangers losing two more players through injury really isn’t ideal with the side trying to get back to winning ways, and both Windass and Foderingham potentially missing tomorrow’s clash could lead to a number of changes.
