Rangers defender linked with switch to SPL rival

Rangers’ interest in Kilmarnock’s Jordan Jones has intensified with the reported claims that defender Lee Hodson could be used as a makeweight for the deal.

The English-born winger, a Northern Irish full international, is another prime target for Graeme Murty and Mark Allen, but with Rangers’ coffers hardly brimming the ex-Killie loan right back may find himself returning to Rugby Park again as part of a sweetener.

In truth Hodson has not really had a major crack of the whip at Ibrox, mostly being deployed in his weaker left back position, and has struggled to impress there, while he would surely be a first choice right back for Steven Clarke’s Kilmarnock who look to be building something meaningful out in Ayrshire.

With Rangers desperate to get in quality players before the end of the month, Hodson’s time could well be up in the process of bringing in the 23-year old winger.

  1. Strange for Rangers to go after a second winger in Jones following Murphy – but adds to the Michael O'Neill theory from my earlier post!

  2. Buy A Proper RB
    Have Tav/O'Halloran at RM
…Or Tav at RB & O'Halloran at RM
    Bin Candeias

Wallace at LB, John/Murphy at LM
…or John at LB if Murphy Plays LM

  3. We can never have enough players to supply the ammunition or shoot at the target.

Since we've started to Fire the dross
