Massive new injury blow for Aberdeen

Interim Rangers coach Graeme Murty really does not have his problems to seek right now. Reeling from two dreadful defeats in a row, the caretaker manager faces Aberdeen tomorrow with seemingly yet more losses in squad personnel to add to his woes.

Ruled out for sure remain Jordan Rossiter and Graham Dorrans, both recovering from long-term illness and injury, and doubts persist over the following:

Lee Wallace;

Last reported at ‘90%’ and remains around there apparently. Will not be available tomorrow.

Fabio Cardoso;

Missed a few matches thanks to that broken nose, Dundee coming too early. Unclear if tomorrow will see his return.

Alfredo Morelos;

Added to the injury pile, the Colombian suffered a colossal midriff clash (iliac crest) with the post v Dundee and is under the care of the physios at Auchenhowie. Will be assessed prior to kick off to see if he is ready to play.

In better news:

Bruno Alves; been training individually to get back to fitness, and he is ready and fit for tomorrow.

  1. It pains me to say this, but there is nothing positive about our team right now and no amount of positive thinking will make our team any better.
    Aberdeen will fight tooth and nail for every ball with intensity and energy, we don't. They have a solid team, we simply don't.
    We lack pace, skill, tactics, intensity, energy, confidence, fight, strength, urgency and we lose the ball so cheaply all too often and garbage in front of goal!!
    Murty will once again stick with his pals Miller and Windass, therefore we are 2 players down already before a ball is kicked. That's a fact!
    If Alves doesn't make it and Wilson plays, then we are truly fecked!!
    It's going to be a long painful night this Wednesday, mark my words, our players don't have a fight in them! They need a good kick up the backside!!

  2. Hi mate I've got to agree with every word you have said one thing I would say is the team must hit an all time low before it can start to rebuild but to rebuild they must want to win but each individual in the team must also want to win for themselves as well as the club comega on boys it's time to waken up and see what miller and his friends are doing to the club and Dave I would snap the hand of ray for the benifit of the club while you search for a permanent manager

  3. Agreed 100%. But you know what Jimbo. I think we will win, I've seen it before. I always back a bottom team v a league topper and this game isn't so very far away from it as recent form will show. Agree about Miller and Windass. Former too old, latter no bottle.
