Pedro Caixinha to make big call in midfield?

Rangers could be ready to hand a starting debut to on-loan Man City winger, Aaron Nemane tomorrow night.

With Rangers’ well-documented issues on the left, and the likelihood of Declan John regaining his place at left back, not to mention Josh Windass’ poor form and Niko Kranjcar’s present injury status, the 19-year old is on standby to make his maiden bow from the start tomorrow at the SuperSeal.

Nemane has looked fairly handy in the admittedly fleetingly brief cameos he has had since joining Rangers under the influence of Director of Football Mark Allen, and will be hoping to get his first significant minutes against Martin Canning’s XI on Friday.

The flying machine has heavily featured in club media outlets this week and we would not be shocked to see him tomorrow.

Rangers have really struggled to solve the left-wing issue, and with the failure to get Jamie Walker remaining fresh in the memory, it would be an excellent chance for a promising young player to show what he can do under the unique pressure of an away ground in Scotland on a Friday night.

We would be entirely in favour of his name in the starting XI.

  1. We are hardly playing away at the Nou Camp or Olympic Stadium are we? and if this youngster can get through the intense youth process at City then surely a friday night game in a nothing stadium against, with the greatest respect, a nothing team should upset his sleep pattern or give him a nose bleed

We are certainly clutching at straws with this one as no one knows how good or bad the boy is, he isnt ours anyway and the whole issue only demonstrates how devoid of talent we are at present from starting 11 down to the boys that clean the boots

It would bring tears to a class eye!

    • Big Tam, right now we have been playing as if we ARE playing at Nou Camp and the Olympic Stadium. At least I could accept points getting taken from us if that were the case. And its those "nothing teams" that are taking the points from us.
I agree we are devoid of talent both in defence and attack. Midfield does not support either our defence or attack! Jack and Dorrans together just doesn't work!

  2. I’ve always say we should give Pedro time. But time is now up, he’s now lost the dressing room
And even if we win tonight he must be told to leave himself before this season turns into another shambles for the wrong reason

  3. Look lets get behind Pedro win lose or draw we are a good team like the rest in Scotland we must walk before we can run but we are part of the future Pedro is the
stepping stone let him do what he has to do then new manager will come after Pedro lays the Foundations so we can be on a Par with Selltic once again we will get now where fast if we keep sacking every new manager we get let him do the job or we could regret letting him go for get a top manager coming in not going happen.
