Rangers’ imminent signing Alfredo Morelos has updated his Instagram account to confirm he is a Rangers player, it has emerged.
The Colombian striker got the deal sorted over the past 24 hours and all that now awaits is Rangers making the official announcement to verify the deal publicly.
The 20-year old is being hailed as a major signing by Rangers fans who desperately need a reliable and prolific goal scorer, the likes of which has barely been seen at Ibrox since Croat international Nikica Jelavic, and with an over one in two stat throughout his career, Morelos could well be it.
It will take the summer business done by Pedro up to six signings, meaning he has now signed over half a new team, and with Europa League qualifiers taking place at the end of the month, Rangers certainly need to be ready.
This would be a step in the right direction.

High hopes for Alfredo at Ibrox – he reminds me of Michael Mols very quick & strong and knows where the goal is.. JJ deserves the credit for this one – have to be patient and give him a settling in period but I honestly don't think he will need it……..
I think the players being back in so early and preparing for these early games is a big plus. Too many times in the past we have been knocked out by teams who had fitness and sharpness on us due to them sometimes having already started their seasons.
I think the strikers Pedro has signed give us some options. Herrera seems more physical and more of a target whilst morelos might be more of a runner and disrupter of defensive lines. Anyway, his scoring record is fantastic and I pray he can get anywhere near that for us. Also, Miller will still do great next season. I'm sure of it.
