Rangers star ruled out of Old Firm semi

Rangers manager Mark Warburton has today confirmed via his
press conference that star striker Martyn Waghorn is officially ruled out of
next Sunday’s Old Firm Scottish Cup semi final clash.
The striker picked up the injury at Rugby
Park and has been on a regimented
program of recovery and rehabilitation, and had been reported as being ahead of
schedule in his recuperation, but the Celtic clash has come too soon and the
former Leicester and Wigan striker will not
make Hampden for the first Old Firm clash since February 2015.

Waggy has been on fire this season, being top scorer on
various charts, and there had been slim hopes he could return in time for the
big one, but The Magic Hat has today ruled that out and it is anyone’s guess at
this point exactly when the powerhouse will be fit enough again to feature for
the Ibrox side.

  1. At least you are better to know now so you can prepare properly with the players you do have at your disposal. Michael O'Halloran is cup tied with St Johnstone and Billy King with Hearts, so they are out as well. It looks like Forrester, Miller & McKay pick themselves now.

  2. For the last few weeks I have felt he wouldn't make it because of requiring to be match-fit…But that's one more reason to beat the eastenders, so he can play in the final…We will still prevail! RANGERS are "SIMPLY THE BEST"

  3. I think that's a shame he's been great this season but we have goals from all over the pitch and it is better to no now that 10 mins before kick off I'm not worried 1 bit about this game I'd be gutted if we lost like every Rangers fan in the world but theres no pressure on us warbs will still be here building for next year so if we could win its by by Delilah n they need to rebuild and a great year for us we r winner what ever the outcome buzzing for it tho

  4. Maybe your obsession with those obsessed by the obsessed with the obsessed has made you obsessed. Probably with yourself

  5. Congratulations to the Gers for winning every trophie that Scotland offers lets get behind the club and beat septic next week and win the Scottish cup and get into Europe attack better players and push on for next season the haters r scared stiff and that's without Dave King showing his hand yet I'm sure there's funds but it's not about throwing money around its about picking the right kind of players who would be worthy of pulling on the Rangers jersey hard workers winners WATP
