Rangers star believes a clean sweep is possible

Following his well-deserved Player of the Month for September award, on-fire striker Martyn Waghorn believes Rangers can win every single manager and player award this season, as long as they keep doing the business on the park.

Waghorn has 14 for the season, and was a runaway winner for September, just as James Tavernier was entirely justified taking August’s award, and naturally their Magic Hat nailed both manager awards with something to spare, and the hard-working striker is pretty sure if they can keep this level up they will nail all 20 awards this season.

While the forward admits it is in Rangers’ own hands, he believes if they can keep the consistency, the awards will continue to flow to Ibrox.

He said:

“As long as we’re playing well both individually and as a team, personally I think we could win it (all the awards). We’re a great set of lads and everyone’s performing really well so if we can continue, brilliant. And hopefully we can get a clean sweep through the season.”

However, while that confidence is evident, the note of caution follows:

“It’ll be a tough ask. It’s down to us. How we play and how much effort we put in but it would be nice. It’s good to have (the award).”

No reason why the best team with the best manager and best players cannot win the lot.

  1. Calm doon Waggy. Leave the wild predictions to the Celtic gaffer Runny Diarrhoea. Every time that clown opens his gub they go and do the exact opposite. Ronny must stay!!!

  2. Love your comments and I know we are playing well but I would rather we take one game at a time ,just keep playing the way you are and I am sure you will be spot on with your prediction .WATP LOL .

  3. Let's just keep on winning and improving, we don't need anyone leaving themselves open to ridicule when they don't get it right, just concentrate on Rangers and forget awards until such time as they are earned
