Up a month more out for Cammy Bell

3

Long-term absentee Cammy Bell remains out of commission, with Warburton confirming a potential further three weeks on the sidelines for the former number one at Ibrox, when on the 28th of August he claimed the former Killie stopper was only 14 days away from a return.

The 2013 summer signing has not truly been missed, but his injury problems continue to grow and after being only two weeks away from a return a fortnight ago, that has extended to nearly a month.

Warburton said:

“Cammy Bell’s not been available to us from the start as you know, but he’s getting much closer now and he’ll be available for selection in two or three weeks time.”

One has to wonder what has caused such a serious long-term injury with the one-time Scotland cap, and whether his career is at risk given it is the second major injury to rule him out over a significant spell since he signed up at Ibrox.

Thankfully with Liam Kelly as backup and first-choice Wes Foderingham improving match by match, it is not a massive dilemma.

  1. looks very much like the last time he had an injury…could be he is drawing the wages and not contributing to the rangers machine….get him out …we dont need people who wont work for there pay…these are the areas that RFC.need to tighten up on.

  2. Glad Liam Kelly has signed new contract, this boy is going to be a rangers legend and will be in the Scotland squad within 2years
