Rangers linked to Spurs striker on loan

11

Rangers today have been linked
with Spurs’ 19-year old striker Nathan Oduwa. The forward, who has never scored
at senior level, has been linked with a number of suitors and is currently on
loan at Luton Town, and the deal to take him to Ibrox is said to be close
to completion.
Oduwa is a product of Spurs’
youth academy and did not make his senior debut till February this year.

The deal, reportedly a
season-long loan, comes slightly out of left field for Rangers with the player’s
name not having been linked until now, but it continues the pattern of manager
Mark Warburton’s interest in Tottenham’s youth players, even if one got away
yesterday with full-back Ryan Fredericks making his way over to Bristol City.
None of the White Hart Lane club’s
players have as yet actually sealed a deal to take them to Ibrox, but Oduwa
joins the many names mentioned as yet, and Warburton faces competition for the
striker from Coventry.

    • Oh dear another delirious gers fan thinking we will spend spend spend on marquee money grabbing players haha!!

New chapter my friend… realise it and when you're ready, you're more than welcome come on board and join the party

  2. What is the debt now are we still losing 10 million a year, how much are we paying all those new players can mr king put some money in the pot so we know our club is in safe hands or the fans will buy you out mr king and do a Hearts who are now on a sound standing, how come we could not do as they did with there own young lads how come.

  3. it's ripping out the first three posters on this,go home tims this is nothing to do with you.mark warburton has already stated that marquee signings are dangerous,so in turn he is looking for unknown young players instead.which is a strategy arsene wenger has been using for years, arsenal are in such a terrible state using this strategy that i fear for them and rangers in the future, knowing how dumb celtic fans are the sarcasm will be lost on them, but it's not there for them to enjoy.we are the people

  4. I AM a Rangers fan and I understand the need to be sensible with signings and Warburton has made some great bargain signings but wouldn't it be nice to sign someone we have actually heard of before?

    • Haven't you heard of Danny Wilson? Look bud you have already said Warbo has made some 'great' signings. Who cares if we know names. Trust the man

      WE'RE GOING UP!

  5. Nicely put John Scott, thought we would have signed 4 or 5 players 2million plus but all frees etc can't we even afford one quality signing?? PS we will probably be called trolls or Tim's Mr Scott for having dig at board
